New Projects to come!
Okay guys started a few new projects today. I took a old book shelve off a wall to open up a room and allow the wall to be visible. I'm going to be doing something to the wall and taking the old book shelve and reviving it to something else. I have a lot of new ideas for some things so expect some pictures on the projects tomorrow or maybe, cross your fingers, later this evening. Wish me luck!!

Sun room revived
I live in a old farm house and I like to stick to the theme of the place. I have a sun room right off my kitchen and because the room is suppose to be bright and vivid it is painted bright yellow. (only makes sense it's a "sun" room right). So because the idea of a sun room is bright with open windows that set around the middle of the room I decided that having two kids its nice to have things close to the ground, an area you can relax in. So I took throw pillows and lined a corner of the floor for my children to read and decorated the other side with their own window view.
The wooden window frame cost 5.00 at a yard sale. the shelf is just a board from an old project painted blue. The two rocks I found in a creek bed and the candle was 1.00 at dollar general. The Charleston candle stand is from willow house for 39.96 and inside is just a cup full of flax seed, some cutie oranges and a fake flower.

About me
Hello all, my name is NaRetta and I love to be creative. However, in today's down economy and every one pinching pennies, I found getting the decor items I usually buy to expensive. I started looking around at antique stores, flee markets and auctions to find things I really wanted and getting them for next to nothing. I also like to take things from nature and incorporate them into my designs, because that's what nature is, a Natural Design. Here in my blog you will find ways to find cheap decor items, and ways to spruce them up and look like it cost you hundreds when it may have cost you next to nothing.
